In January 2027, deaf and hard-of-hearing athletes will have the opportunity to step onto the world stage, and represent Canada at the Winter Deaflympics in Austria. From cross-country skiing to curling and ice hockey, our athletes are ready to shine in sports deeply rooted in our Canadian winter culture and DNA. Much more than a sporting adventure, the Deaflympics are a space for inclusion at the heart of world-class sporting excellence. In 2027, more than 800 athletes from around the world are expected to celebrate Deaf sport. Our Canadian athletes want to be part of it too, and to show the world where real winter champions come from. But before they can chase victory, they have to face another challenge: getting there. To help make this delegation a reality, the Canadian Deaf Sports Association (CDSA) needs to raise $75,000. That’s where you come into play.
